MAJOR ENHANCEMENTS TO WEBCONNECT!
GLCU is making enhancements to WebConnect, your online banking service! There are some important things you should know regarding new features, service availability, security improvements and WebConnect ID & password requirements. Security features include a new personal watermark and establishment of security questions so you can continue banking with an even higher level of security!Personal Watermark
After you login to the enhanced site, you will be prompted to select a personal image that will appear during your online banking sessions. Remember the image you select and look for it each time you login. This will help ensure that your page was not re-routed and you are in the genuine GLCU WebConnect site.Security Questions
In order to make your online banking experience as secure as possible, a WebConnect security feature detects any uncharacteristic or unusual behavior involving your account. If anything out of the ordinary is detected we will verify your identity. After you login answer and verify three security questions. If we detect any unusual or uncharacteristic activity, we will ask you to answer your security questions to make sure that it's really you. This will most likely be a very rare occurrence.WebConnect User ID and Password Requirements - This Includes Mobile Banking Users
To meet the new criteria your WebConnect username must be unique, start with an alpha character, include only A-Z or 0-9 and have a length of 8 to 12 characters. Your password must have a length of 6 to 10 mixed characters and digits. Individual characters may only be used 2-times in the password. If your current WebConnect credentials do not meet these guidelines please login to WebConnect and select "Change Login Profile" from the "Settings" menu and change to avoid a lockout on your account. Note, changing WebConnect credentials will also affect your Mobile Banking Login. Once WebConnect credentials are changed, they will be required when using Mobile Banking apps on your phone or other mobile device.
